Improving accessibility with multi-language messages

"As employees of a global company, we have the privilege of working with people from all around the world. Our international diversity is one of our greatest assets, making the CWT community a melting pot of different cultures, backgrounds, experiences — and languages. With that in mind, it’s important to ensure our communications are accessible to as many of our colleagues as possible, by translating them into multiple languages as much as we can.

Enlisting the services of an external agency is the most accurate way to obtain translations, and we use our approved vendor Lionbridge. However, it’s an expensive process and can take some time to turn around. To allow us to efficiently translate more content, the Global Internal Communication (GIC) team has recently started using an online translation tool called DeepL for some of our blogs and emails.
